Job Overview

Absolute Pets, South Africa’s leading premium pet retailer with over 190 stores nationwide, is seeking a reliable and disciplined Warehouse Driver to join its Kempton Park warehouse team.

This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and damage-free deliveries to stores while upholding company values and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time deliveries to stores according to the daily route schedule
• Ensure the delivery vehicle departs the warehouse by 09:00 (Monday to Friday)
• Load the vehicle in an organised sequence based on the delivery route
• Verify and check all food items during loading
• Deliver correct stock quantities to designated stores
• Ensure store staff check and confirm all delivered stock in the presence of the driver
• Handle products carefully to minimise damages and breakages
• Report all delivery discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager
• Check and verify all returned stock against IBT documentation
• Record and note all discrepancies clearly on IBT documents
• Maintain a clean, neat, and roadworthy vehicle at all times
• Report vehicle damages or breakages immediately
• Uphold and promote Absolute Pets company values
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with PDP
• Proven experience as a delivery or warehouse driver
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety focused
• Physically fit to assist with loading and offloading
