1. Truck Operator L11 (Code 14 Driver)

Salary: R201,852 – R218,172 per annum

Job Overview

Lephalale Municipality is seeking a qualified Truck Operator (Code 14 Driver) to support waste management operations by transporting general waste safely to landfill sites.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10
• Valid Code EC (Code 14) driver’s licence
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
• Minimum 2 years’ driving experience
• Advanced driving skills (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and transport non-hazardous waste from designated points
• Ensure safe disposal of waste at landfill sites
• Operate municipal vehicles safely and efficiently

2. Refuse Removers (x3) L14A-14

Salary: R159,804 – R165,912 per annum

Job Overview

The municipality is also hiring 3 Refuse Removers to assist with daily waste collection and loading operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Physically and mentally fit
• Basic literacy (ability to read and write)

Key Responsibilities

• Collect refuse bags from streets, pavements, and sidewalks
• Load waste into trucks
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas
