Job Overview

Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages is looking for an experienced Shunter to join its Parow Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement and positioning of trucks within the warehouse and distribution yard to support loading and offloading operations.

This role is ideal for a skilled Code 14 driver with experience operating heavy vehicles in a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely shunt and position trucks within the depot, warehouse, and loading areas.
• Move vehicles to designated loading and offloading bays.
• Assist in ensuring efficient fleet movement to support distribution operations.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after movements.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements.
• Report vehicle defects, incidents, or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
• Support operational activities and perform additional duties as required by management.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Valid Code 14 (EC) Driver’s Licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP/PDP).
• Valid Forklift Operator Certificate.
• 3–4 years' experience operating Code 14 heavy vehicles.
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, transport, or distribution environment will be advantageous.
