Forklift Driver Vacancy in Northern Cape

VKB Group is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join its GWK Retail operations in Magogong, Northern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, offloading, and moving stock safely and efficiently within the retail and logistics environment.

As part of one of South Africa’s leading agricultural and agribusiness groups, this role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced supply chain environment supporting farmers and retail operations.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Valid Forklift Licence or willingness to undergo re-testing.
• Code 10 Driver’s Licence with PDP will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Good physical health and fitness.
• Traceable references.

Key Responsibilities

Forklift Operations and Stock Handling

• Load, lift, and move palletised goods within and outside company premises.
• Load trucks for customer dispatch and distribution.
• Control offloading of incoming goods and verify stock accuracy.
• Assist customers and suppliers with loading and offloading of stock.
• Ensure safe handling of goods according to company procedures.

Warehouse and Retail Support

• Perform general warehouse and retail support duties.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining work areas.
• Carry out ad hoc operational tasks as required.
• Support stock control and inventory processes.

Customer Service and Compliance

• Provide excellent customer service during loading and offloading operations.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Promote a service-oriented and professional work environment.
