Job Overview

BUCO Witbank is looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join its operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, offloading, moving, and stacking stock using a forklift, Hyster, or sand loader while ensuring safe handling of products and excellent customer service.

This role is ideal for an experienced forklift operator with strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift, Hyster, or sand loader to move stock and materials.
• Load and offload heavy and bulk deliveries efficiently.
• Transport products to designated storage and dispatch areas.
• Stack, pack, and organise stock according to company procedures.
• Interpret invoices and delivery documentation accurately.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report defects or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure the forklift and equipment are maintained in a clean and serviceable condition.
• Assist customers with loading products when required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures when operating equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards within warehouse and yard areas.
• Uphold and promote the company’s values, culture, and customer service standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid Forklift Operator Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years' forklift driving experience.
• Experience working in a warehouse, retail, logistics, or distribution environment will be advantageous.
• Good understanding of safe material handling procedures.
