Job Overview

Belgotex Floorcoverings is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join its Outbound Logistics team in Pietermaritzburg. This role is ideal for a safety-conscious and detail-oriented individual with strong warehouse experience and forklift operating skills.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are picked accurately, staged correctly, and loaded efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Picking customer orders accurately using the D365 scanner.
• Ensuring all sales orders are staged correctly for dispatch.
• Loading customer orders onto trucks, trailers, and export containers.
• Maintaining high service levels while complying with all safety procedures.
• Returning cancelled sales orders to warehouse stock.
• Assisting with warehouse organisation and stock movement.
• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Supporting daily outbound logistics operations.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) with a pass in Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy and English.
• Previous experience as a Forklift Driver.
• Valid forklift licence (advantageous).
• Understanding of outbound logistics processes will be beneficial.
• Ability to work shifts.
• Good eyesight and physical fitness for warehouse operations.

Advantageous Qualifications and Knowledge

The following will be advantageous:

• Experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 standards.
• Familiarity with warehouse systems such as 5S, CAMS, and D365 Scanner.
• Understanding of warehouse inventory and dispatch procedures.
