Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, prompt, and efficient delivery service to BUCO customers. The role ensures that goods are delivered in the correct quantities, on time, and without damage, breakages, or shortages, while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver goods to customers safely and efficiently
Ensure the delivery vehicle is neatly and correctly packed
Prevent damages, breakages, and shortages during transport
Supervise and assist with loading and offloading of stock
Conduct daily vehicle inspection checks
Report vehicle defects and maintenance requirements
Maintain the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition
Ensure accurate delivery notes and authorisations are completed
Collect Cash on Delivery (COD) payments where required
Supply customers with the correct quantities and products
Implement cost-saving measures related to vehicle usage
Provide professional and courteous customer service
Uphold and promote BUCO’s values, culture, and service standards

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
Valid Code 10 (HV) or Code 8 (LV) driver’s licence (Vehicle weight range: 9 001 kg – 16 000 kg)
Minimum of 2 years relevant driving experience
Good understanding of road safety regulations
Physically fit and able to assist with loading and offloading
