Key Responsibilities

Delivery and Collections

• Ensure timely and efficient collection and delivery of payments, documents, and goods
• Hand over items to relevant staff and report any incomplete tasks immediately
• Plan and follow the most efficient and safest routes
• Liaise with internal staff to maximise productivity before trips
• Maintain accurate records using logbooks and delivery schedules
• Ensure all documentation is completed correctly

Customer Service

• Represent the company professionally at all times
• Maintain clean and presentable vehicles
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
• Report any delays, risks, or issues encountered on the road

Risk Management and Compliance

• Adhere to all company policies regarding cash and cheque handling
• Ensure all collected payments are counted and signed for
• Maintain a clean driving record free of accidents and traffic violations
• Comply with safety procedures, company policies, and legal requirements
• Report any incidents, damages, or safety concerns immediately

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s licence
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a driving role
