PepsiCo is recruiting a motivated and customer-focused Driver Salesman to join the Epping Bakery team. This role combines frontline sales, route management, and delivery excellence, ensuring that bakery products reach customers on time while growing sales and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Job Purpose

To deliver bakery products to customers efficiently and professionally, manage route sales activities, handle cash and documentation accurately, and identify opportunities to grow sales within the allocated route.

Key Responsibilities

• Distribute bread and bakery products to customers according to assigned routes
• Ensure on-time and in-full delivery to all customers
• Manage cash and payments on route in line with company procedures
• Deliver high standards of customer service and build strong customer relationships
• Identify sales opportunities and gaps in the local market
• Balance driver books and perform basic reconciliations accurately
• Take full accountability for the allocated delivery and sales route
• Minimise driver shortages and stock variances
• Liaise effectively with the relevant Sales Representative
• Maintain effective crate control at all times

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification
• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with PDP

• Sales awareness and opportunity-spotting mindset
• High level of accountability and route ownership
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
