Premier is seeking a disciplined and safety-focused Driver Replenishment to join the Despatch team at BRB East London. This role is critical to ensuring bakery products are delivered efficiently, accurately, and without damage across assigned routes, supporting uninterrupted replenishment to customers.

Job Purpose

To manage the allocated vehicle and load on assigned routes, ensuring products are delivered on time, in full, and in good condition, while complying with all safety, legal, and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the vehicle for each trip and operate a heavy-duty vehicle safely and responsibly
• Manage and secure allocated loads to prevent damage during transit
• Handle all delivery documentation accurately and perform related ancillary duties
• Adhere strictly to all company SOPs, safety procedures, and operational standards
• Follow emergency and breakdown reporting procedures promptly and accurately
• Maintain high standards of vehicle housekeeping and cleanliness
• Comply with AARTO rules and all road traffic legislation at all times
• Carry out all reasonable instructions issued by the Manager
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and internal teams

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification
• Valid Code 14 driver’s licence with PrDP

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 24 months professional driving experience
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar replenishment or FMCG distribution role

Working Conditions

• Six-day work week
• Required to work Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays
• Required to work on a rotating schedule as per operational requirements

This role is well suited to an experienced Code 14 driver who understands that replenishment in South Africa’s FMCG environment is about discipline, vehicle care, and consistency—getting the basics right, every single day.
