As a Driver at Afrimat, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Collecting and delivering spare parts and other goods between sites and branches.
  • Safely transporting people when required, ensuring comfort, professionalism and punctuality.
  • Caring for the company vehicle by conducting pre-trip inspections and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Assisting with general tasks in the stores or depot when needed, such as organising stock, assisting with packing or helping colleagues.
  • Handling basic administrative duties related to deliveries and collections, working closely with management for accurate records.
  • Being prepared to work after hours or flexibly when operational needs arise.
  • Being part of a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, where teamwork and self-reliance are key.

  • At least 3 years’ driving experience, ideally with commercial or logistics exposure.
  • A clean criminal record with no history that could affect safety or integrity.
  • Ability to understand and communicate clearly in English, especially for reporting and coordination.
  • Contactable references from previous employers to demonstrate experience and reliability.

What We Offer

Afrimat provides a supportive work environment where safety and professional development are taken seriously. You’ll work with a team that values strong communication, disciplined driving standards and operational excellence, with ongoing opportunities for skills training as part of the company’s broader employee development approach.
