Job Overview

Sentraal-Suid Co-operative Ltd (SSK) is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join its Agriland retail operation in Albertinia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of inventory, vehicle upkeep, and accurate trip administration while supporting daily operational requirements.

This role is ideal for a disciplined driver with strong organisational skills and a professional attitude, accustomed to working in a retail or agricultural distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver stock and inventory to SSK trade branches
• Supervise the loading and unloading of vehicles to prevent damage or shortages
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects timeously
• Reconcile and complete daily vehicle logbooks
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, and presentable
• Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company safety standards
• Communicate effectively with branch staff and management
• Work overtime when operationally required

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate
• Minimum 3 years’ operational driving experience
• Valid Code 14 driver’s licence
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
• Bilingual proficiency, including English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised, reliable, and self-disciplined
• Willingness and flexibility to work overtime
