AFGRI Retail is seeking a reliable and disciplined Driver to join its Bethal operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation and basic maintenance of company vehicles to ensure effective stock distribution and delivery to outlets.

Job Purpose

To operate and maintain delivery vehicles, ensuring professional and efficient logistics support while maintaining compliance with road safety and company procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification
• Minimum 1 year heavy vehicle driving experience
• Valid Code 10 (C1) driver’s licence with PDP
• Experience within an agricultural environment will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Execute deliveries and related logistics in a professional and efficient manner
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
• Assist with stock counts and ensure stock on the vehicle is properly secured and maintained
• Assist with loading and offloading of stock
• Complete daily logbooks accurately
• Report delays, incidents, or irregularities to the line manager promptly

Technical Knowledge & Competencies

• Valid Code 10 (C1) licence with PDP
• Knowledge of local routes and agricultural environments
• GPS and map reading skills
• Basic understanding of farming activities and agricultural products
• Good verbal and written communication skills
