Job Overview

ACDC Express, a leading supplier of electrical, electronics, pumps, tools, and related products, is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Driver to join its Bellville team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and delivery of goods while maintaining excellent customer service and ensuring company vehicles are operated in accordance with all traffic regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect customer orders safely and on time.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Ensure all deliveries correspond with delivery notes before departure and upon arrival.
• Plan delivery routes to maximise efficiency and service levels.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date trip logbooks.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Keep company vehicles clean, roadworthy, and presentable.
• Comply with all road traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Assist with dispatch and distribution activities as required.
• Perform additional driver-related duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid South African Code 10 (C1) Driver’s Licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP/PDP).
• Clean driving record.
• 2–3 years of driving, delivery, courier, or transport experience will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Bellville, Somerset West, Cape Town, and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
