Job Overview

BUCO Phalaborwa is seeking a professional and dependable Driver (9001–16000kg) to provide safe, prompt, and efficient delivery services to customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, ensuring accurate deliveries, maintaining vehicle condition, and delivering excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers and business locations.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded and packed correctly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Supervise and assist with loading and offloading activities.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Maintain vehicles in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition.
• Verify delivery quantities and ensure customers receive the correct products.
• Obtain customer signatures and authorisations on delivery documentation.
• Collect Cash on Delivery (COD) payments when required and ensure accurate handling of funds.
• Promote cost-effective vehicle operation through responsible driving practices.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Uphold and promote the company's values, culture, and operational standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid South African Code 10 (C1) Driver’s Licence.
• Code 8 (B) Driver’s Licence will be advantageous where applicable.
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant driving and delivery experience.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle operation.
• Ability to accurately complete delivery documentation and records.
