Job Purpose

The main purpose of this role is to provide a safe, prompt, and efficient delivery service to store clients, ensuring that all items are delivered without breakages or shortages.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver goods to clients and stores safely and on time
Ensure the vehicle is neatly and correctly packed
Prevent product damages and breakages during transport
Supervise and assist with loading and offloading
Conduct daily vehicle inspection checks
Report vehicle defects and mechanical issues
Maintain the vehicle and support general vehicle care
Supply correct quantities and ensure accurate deliveries
Reduce vehicle-related costs through responsible driving and reporting
Ensure delivery notes are properly authorised and signed
Collect COD (Cash on Delivery) monies where applicable
Provide professional customer service
Uphold and promote the company values and culture

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12
Valid driver’s licence: Code 10 (HV) or Code 8 (LV) – under 3500 kg
Minimum 2 years relevant driving experience
