Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide a safe, prompt, and efficient delivery service to BUCO customers, ensuring that all goods are delivered accurately, on time, and without damage or shortages.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver goods to customers in a safe and professional manner
Ensure the vehicle is neatly packed to prevent damages and breakages
Supervise and assist with loading and offloading of stock
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects promptly
Maintain the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition
Supply correct quantities and ensure delivery accuracy
Reduce vehicle-related costs through responsible driving
Obtain delivery note authorisations and collect COD monies where required
Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Uphold and promote company values and culture

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
Valid Code 8 (LV) or Code 10 (HV) driver’s licence
(Vehicles under 3 500 kg)
Minimum 2 years’ relevant driving experience
Good understanding of road safety and delivery procedures
