PepsiCo is looking for energetic and reliable Delivery Assistants to join the Epping Bakery operations. This is a hands-on role that supports drivers on daily delivery routes, ensuring bakery products are delivered accurately, safely, and efficiently to customers.

Job Purpose

To assist the driver with the offloading, delivery, packing, and return of bakery products, ensuring correct quantities, neat merchandising, and safe operations at all customer delivery points.

Key Responsibilities

• Offload bakery goods from the truck at customer sites
• Carry crates from the truck to the shop and return empty crates to the vehicle
• Pack goods neatly and correctly onto customers’ shelves
• Count stock during delivery to ensure correct quantities are delivered
• Assist the driver with reversing by acting as a guide when required
• Assist with basic on-route issues such as changing a puncture
• Ensure safe handling of products and crates at all times
• Maintain good housekeeping around the truck and customer premises
• Represent PepsiCo professionally at customer sites

Minimum Requirements

• Matric qualification
• Driver’s licence (Code 10) with PDP will be an advantage

Skills and Attributes

• Physically fit and able to handle heavy crates
• Strong attention to detail when counting and packing stock
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Customer-focused and respectful
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure
