DHL Supply Chain South Africa is currently recruiting 4 Code 14 Truck Drivers for its operations based in Kariega (Uitenhage), Eastern Cape. This is a permanent full-time opportunity for experienced heavy-duty drivers looking to join one of the world’s leading logistics and supply chain companies.

Job Overview

The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe, professional, and timely transportation of goods while ensuring full compliance with operational procedures, customer service standards, and road safety regulations.

Drivers will also be responsible for maintaining delivery accuracy, vehicle care, cargo accountability, and professional interaction with customers and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently according to load manifests
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections using company checklists
• Ensure vehicles and equipment remain roadworthy and clean
• Report vehicle defects or cargo discrepancies immediately
• Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure correct loading and inventory control
• Load deliveries according to off-loading sequence requirements
• Count and verify parcels against manifest documents
• Ensure customers sign for all deliveries correctly
• Record arrival and departure times on trip sheets
• Follow all company SOPs and safe working procedures
• Wear company uniform professionally at all times
• Attend debriefing sessions after trips
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
• Drive safely and courteously while complying with road regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Valid Code 14 Driver’s Licence
• Valid PDP
• Good understanding of K53 road rules
• No licence endorsements
