PPC is seeking a skilled Mixer Driver to join its team in Rustenburg. The successful candidate will operate a concrete mixer truck, transporting and delivering concrete to construction sites while ensuring safe driving practices and efficient offloading of materials.

This role requires experience in handling specialised mixer trucks and working in construction environments where adherence to safety and delivery schedules is critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle and mixer inspections before starting operations
• Report any mechanical or operational issues to the Supervisor
• Ensure the vehicle is properly cleaned and greased
• Monitor and manage tyre condition and safety
• Drive the mixer truck to construction sites according to delivery schedules
• Plan and follow appropriate routes to reach delivery sites
• Continuously monitor the vehicle for faults or operational issues
• Operate the mixer to offload concrete safely at construction sites
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Follow daily operational instructions and delivery schedules

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) plus external driver certification
• Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s licence with PDP
• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating a concrete mixer truck
• Ability to drive vehicles with manual, automatic, semi-automatic, and split gearboxes (Mercedes-Benz, FAW, and Fuso trucks)
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations
