Premier FMCG is looking for an experienced Link Driver to join its Despatch team at the Rustenburg Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles, ensuring safe transportation of food products, and maintaining compliance with road safety and company regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for the assigned vehicle
Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and report faults or mechanical issues
Complete vehicle inspection sheets and ensure vehicles are refuelled when required
Load and offload food products, including palletised goods
Ensure the truck and associated equipment are clean and in good working condition
Ensure vehicles are loaded correctly and verify documentation against loads
Deliver correct quantities to customers and obtain signed proof of delivery (POD) documents
Navigate delivery routes across Gauteng and surrounding areas
Maintain the vehicle in good condition through proper housekeeping
Ensure compliance with the Road Traffic Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and company policies
Promote road safety and the safety of other road users

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
Valid Code 14 driver’s licence with a valid PrDP
Licence must be unendorsed

Experience Requirements

5–10 years’ driving experience operating heavy vehicles
Experience driving Scania, Mercedes-Benz, or MAN trucks will be advantageous
