Job Overview

Raubex is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Code 14 Driver to join its Construction Materials division in Stilfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of raw materials and products while ensuring vehicles are well maintained and operated in accordance with company policies and road traffic regulations.

Previous experience operating a ready-mix concrete truck or working within the manufacturing, aggregates, or crushing plant environment will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy-duty vehicles to transport raw materials and products.
• Follow delivery instructions provided by supervisors and ensure timely deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and complete daily vehicle safety checklists.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded and off-loaded according to company procedures.
• Comply with all road traffic legislation and company safety standards.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Keep the truck, including the concrete drum where applicable, clean and free of hardened concrete.
• Report vehicle defects and maintenance requirements promptly.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance when required.
• Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance records.
• Support efficient plant operations by ensuring vehicles remain roadworthy and operational.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Code 14 (EC) driver's licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• 2–5 years of driving experience.
• Experience operating a ready-mix truck is advantageous.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction materials, aggregates, or crushing plant environments will be beneficial.
