I served at the Nigel Mill for 7 months in a fixed term contract as messenger driver and a year as a learner enrolled in a Grain milling course but practically worked as a delivery truck driver, In this period of building my professional career as a driver, I have undertaken various important responsibilities with utmost sincerity and passion. Such as conducting successful Multidrop deliveries to various customers, safe keeping & handling of records such as POD’s, Checklists, CHEP doc etc,Abiding to delivery schedule as planned by controllers, ensuring the cleanliness of the cab & loading deck to ensure that the the company’s image, food safety & standard is upheld, conducting daily vehicle checklist prior to vehicle utilisation using the company’s approved vehicle checklist book to identify & report pre-start, start up and operational faults and prevent vehicle failure during deliveries also extending the vehicles lifespan, maintaining good relationships with my management, colleagues and client’s.
